Outstanding Youth Project” had passed the acceptance check
On August 11, 2016, research of the spherical plain bearings working mechanisms on the large-scale building metal structure, which was undertook by the chief engineer Chen Zhixiong and was the Natural Science Fund of Fujian Province Outstanding Youth Project, have passed the acceptance check.
The project has completed the research on the friction and wear mechanisms of the self-lubricating liner of PTFE fabric, and solved the technical problem of coordinating the point rotation center of the spherical plain bearings by pairs. It developed the first slidable radial spherical plain bearings in China. The project broke through a number of key technologies, formed a complete set of technical reports and process specifications, and developed a number of typical spherical plain bearing products for construction. It has been successfully applied on 34 large-scale building metal structures, such as Shanghai Tower (632 meters height), and Shenzhen Airport T3 terminals. The research results of this project have formed a technological leading and monopolistic advantage in China, making LS as the only one designer and manufacturer of this field in China, and filling the blank(gap) of spherical plain bearing technical field in China.
